ZMA (zero – muscles- anabolic) is an outright con.

It is an rotten example of the very worst of the supplement industry that promotes crap as effective. ZMA is rubbish, it is not a question of some products work and other don’t, every product of ZMA is crap. Now this is no secret those selling it either are stupid and don’t know it is crap or they know it is crap and enjoy making you look stupid for signing over the cash. A fuller report will be in the Members Section of the site, until then believe someone who cares that ZMA is a con. Avoid it and any company that is taking the mick out of you by still selling it. What does that say about their other products and about the people selling it. I wouldn’t buy a car from a dodgy dealer let alone products that I put into my body and pay good money for! We never sold ZMA even when we could have made a fortune from doing so, but I guess we are the very few that put fellow bodybuilders before profits. That said most supplement businesses are NOT run by bodybuilders and most who look like they are just have lots of 'faces' they sponser who then lie and say "This product made me what I am today!" Yeah right, but it WORKS and so many people are conned by this day in, day out. We refused to sell out and had to give up the ghost, tells you a lot about peoples common sense when it comes to buying supplements!

NEMESIS 500 GRAM TUBS
What do you think about this?

Many people have suggested that we sell Nemesis in 500 gram tubs (half the size they are now) as they could more readily budget for this and due to the unique one scoop per dose this smaller tub would still last a good while, at least as good or better than others of the same size. This is a good idea and we could have this processed by our supplier. The thing is do you really think it is a go, or a no go? The 500 gram tub we could knock out for around £10 - £12.99 per tub and would be a great way for those on a budget to still afford Nemesis or for those who want to save this one of a kind protein powder for special occasions like post workout meal etc. Let us know guys! Tell us what YOU WANT? What you really, really want!
Outrage over plans to stop supplements!
Far more people than actually buy our products have protested via this site and e-mail that they still WANT them for sale. They understand the service we are giving to bodybuilders everywhere by offering low cost, no non-sense supplements. For the reasons already given in a previous post we are reluctant to do this, but we also listen to what you tell us and you are telling us in large numbers not to stop the supplements!

So now tell us what you would actually want, use and buy. Use Creatine? Tell us. Use GABA tell us. No brand names are needed - just the ingredient you use. Do you something that you find works that we have missed or what to see? Tell us! If enough people give us good feedback on what they want and what they use we can see what game plan we can use to bring them to you. We need a base amount of products you use. This way we can think of ways to get them to you, at a price you are willing to pay (please be sensible here, £2.99 for Creatine is pushing it a bit, some do sell this but look at the price, it is too low and if someone sells something at the price we pay for trade, how can it be any good? We have covered this fully on our previous Product alerts and consumer updates which will back up in the members section soon.

Do you want Highest quality and equal prices, or slightly less quality (like most sell) and a better price? Tell us. This is your site and these are your products. Who else ASKS their customers what THEY want? We do, so tell us here or e-mail us!

SUPPLEMENTS END OF STOCK SELL OUT
Supplements side of Area Nine ending soon
Yes it is true. The Supplements side of Area Nine is coming to an end. Alas despite huge interest and a dedicated hardcore of regular buyers, the supplements side of the business is simply not viable to be continued as of now. Though we sell the best supplements of their type in the UK, others can market and package their products to such a degree that we can never expect to compete.

The shop will still sell our services such as coaching and also our publications where are unique in these areas. Due to interest Nemesis may continue being sold but at full price as on discount we make nothing on it, but all other products will be gone.

We will sell off any stock either on ebay or on the shop site so you will be able to get some last minute bargains. Keep an eye out for these. Once these have gone the Area 9 range of awesome supplements will be gone for ever.

This never was going to be a big money maker, for one we sold the supplements so cheap for what they were, the best of the market, and we made little or no profit but did so as a service to readers of our books to help them get the best products at good prices. But quality costs money and people simply would rather buy crap than spend extra on good quality. There are exceptions and they stuck with us.

Time costs money and the time needed to process the orders and the 101 other things needed to keep the supplement side of the shop going, means we were doing all this for next to nothing.

This meant we could not expand the range as we wished and improve the marketing which is vital to get in the mainstream customers that go for looks over quality. Package shit like gold and it will sell. Package gold like shit and it will not sell.

So no more supplements, sorry to our regular customers we really valued your repeat orders. Some supplements may come and go via our ebay seller when and if they become available and our new books will continue to be sold online as well as our services.

The good news is that we will able to concentrate on what we do best, running this website making it bigger and better and producing groundbreaking one of a kind books and other publications.

Doctors Fail bodybuilders...
Are doctors worth visiting when it comes to bodybuilding related issues?

This is something that many of you bring to my attention. No real knowledge or assistance from doctors on the issues of bodybuilding. I get so many people who refer to me rather than their doctor stating that their doc is just clueless as to what to say. Most doctors know nothing about weight training, steroids and even supplements. Most will tell you to be careful of taking more protein or Creatine. Mention steroids or other drugs and their eyes really glaze over. Have you found a wonderful doctor who understands bodybuilders? I haven't but if you have let us know his address!

OLD VERSUS NEW

Getting bigger but are we getting BETTER?

Sure us bodybuilders are getting bigger, but are we getting better? I mean I started training thinking a bodybuilder should look like he was a Sculpture like those Greek statues. Now we have tipped the scales, we have seen freaky beyond freaky but is this a good thing? For one you need a HELL of a lot of juice to get that big AND in shape. I look at today's bodybuilders and to be honest they no longer inspire me. In fact to a beginner I am surprised it does not PUT THEM OFF bodybuilding for good. I look back to the days of Arnold, Sergio, Lee Haney and even further back to guys like Leroy Colbert as my inspiration and how I want to look. They were huge but within reach of us mortals. They were in shape but not at the expense of health. If you still think today's bodybuilders are HEALTHY you are on another planet altogether. Bodybuilding and health is not what goes together in today's world, a fact of life. So has bodybuilding gone too far? Or am I just dreaming of a golden age long and forever lost to us?

HOME GYM VERSUS COMMERCIAL GYM

What gives YOU the better workout?

I have worked out at both and now, due to time restraints, train exclusively at my fully equipped home gym and am getting better results than ever. I think bodybuilders can get the Results WHEREVER they train as long as they want those results bad enough. There are pros and cons to both, but many, many pro bodybuilders past and present train at home gyms and have done since the early days and rate them highly. The key here is to have a good mix of equipment and some safety considerations for the lone home trainer but there is no reason in my mind why you cannot build a championship body in the comfort of a home gym. This will need full attention of an article but give your views here.

BODYBUILDERS BLAMED FOR GLOBAL WARMING

Now were in the frame for being TOO big!!!

A recent study showed how 'overweight' people are adding to global warming. This is because they weigh more, eat more and this means it costs more to make the food that we eat and to transport us. As most of us Bodybuilders are overweight by clinical standards, this means WE are being blamed for Global Warming. Now man made Global warming is simply a scam to make money from taxes and as another form of control of the everyday person, but this is a step too far...
